Digging a hole through to China

OK, I admit it.  When I was a kid I used to love to try and dig a hole through to China.  I would spend as much time on it as my little attention span allowed and I got about 18 inches down.  I was pretty sure I had a ways to go, but my arms didn't reach down my hole any further, so there I stopped.  Turns out that its a good thing I didn't make it all the way down because the hole wouldn't have come out in China at all.  In fact, I would have drained the entire Indian Ocean right into my backyard.   Now there is a website that will help you in planning to dig a hole to China.  I recommend starting in Argentina if you want to end up in China. 

If you want to dig through to Fort Knox, plan on starting off the coast of Australia.
